Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence
and character, who make the world a better place.

Travel with Girl Scouts
Every girl deserves a chance to see the world. Girl Scouts offers many different travel opportunities so girls can see new places, meet new people, and learn about different cultures and ideas. Whether exploring their own neighborhoods, going on overnight camping trips, participating in community service projects, or flying to one of the four world centers, Girl Scouts are continually expanding their horizons.
Love planning trips? Want to plan a trip for Girl Scouts? GSMWLP is looking for volunteers interested in planning trips. With support from the Program team, flex your planning skills today and make some memories for a Girl Scout that will last her entire lifetime.
Individual Level
Girl Scout destinations
destinations fall into five categories: international, outdoors, science, people, and getaways. Facilitated by Girl Scouts of the USA and hosted by individual Girl Scout councils, GSUSA, and contracted organizations such as Outward Bound, Girl Scout destinations events or trips open girls up to whole new worlds and ideas. Applications need to be submitted to GSMWLP by November 1st and should be sent to the Program Specialist at the Waite Park Regional Center.

Girl Scout Getaways
Geared to Girl Scout troops ages 11-17, GSUSA getaways are prepackaged travel opportunities located in different cities around the country. They are great for troops looking to travel for the first time. All getaways are quick weekend or short trips that don't require an application, just a registration. Often programming options are included in the price, along with a few meals and sleeping arrangements.
