Recognition of our awesome volunteers is always on our mind. How do we show individuals that they are changing the lives of girls and impacting their communities and our world for years to come, and how important they really are? What can we say that will speak as loudly as the smile and giggle of one girl? What token can we buy that will last longer than the memory of one girl’s gold award project? I believe the answer to all of these questions is absolutely nothing.
Recognizing that we can not and will not compete with the true meaning and satisfaction that volunteering for Girl Scouts brings, it is still important for staff and volunteers to have an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication and service our volunteers freely give to the girls in their communities.
Our adult recognition celebrations are held in the spring each year.
