Our World, Our Family

Every year we gather here for a weekend full of laughter and great memories; girls are able to choose their sessions, adults can take part in trainings, sessions, or just enjoy the quiet beauty of nature! We share breakfast and supper in the dining hall; lunch and snacks are picnic-style. In the evening, in true camp fashion, we share our talents and sing camp songs.

Bring a Friend!

*Why not share the fun and excitement of Our World, Our Family! if a current Girl Scout invites a friend to OWOF, each girl receives a $5 off her registration fee. Simply send in a new girl's 2013-2014 membership form (or copy of your online registration) with your registration and deduct $5 for each girl on the OWOF form. Friend must be new to Girl Scouts or membership lapsed for two years. Contact Amanda for details.*

Teen Volunteer Program - Now Closed

The OWOF Teen Leadership Team is happy to announce that the Teen Volunteer Program (TVP) is completely full!  Thank you to all of the girls who have applied to participate in this new program.  If you have been accepted to the program, you will be receiving a confirmation email soon.

We hope to offer the TVP again next year.  If you were not able to be a part of the TVP, please consider attending OWOF this year, and we encourage you to apply again next year.  Also, GSMWLP offers a wide range of Counselor in Training (CIT) and Guide in Training (GIT) programs at our four camp properties: Camp Roundelay, Camp Sanderson, Camp Shingobee Timbers, and the Northern Lakes Canoe Base.  If you are interested in these teen leadership programs, please contact Melissa Garza for more info.

We look forward to seeing you all at OWOF this year!
