What is a Great Start set? It's a quick and convenient way to purchase the basic items (uniform sash/vest/tunic, emblems, book) girls need when they join Girl Scouts or bridge to a new age level. Sets include a FREE drawstring tote bag ($5.00 value)!

Uniforms & Insignia Placement

Girls wear a uniform sash, vest, or tunic when they participate in ceremonies or officially represent Girl Scouts to proudly display their earned awards. To complete the uniform, choose from our casual or dress uniform components or wear your own khaki pants with a white shirt.

The official uniform for adults is navy blue business attire worn with a scarf and membership pins for women and men.
