Uniforms & Insignia Placement

Girl Scouts wear an official uniform sash, vest, or tunic to proudly display their earned awards. In addition, girls may choose from casual or dress uniform components as shown in the Girl Scout Catalog. When participating in ceremonies or officially representing Girl Scouts, girls wear their own khaki pants and white shirts with their sash, vest, or tunic.

Not sure where the insignia, badges and emblems go on your Girl Scout uniform? Click on the appropriate age-level diagram below:

Girl Scout Daisy (gr K-1)
Girl Scout Brownie (gr 2-3)
Girl Scout Junior (gr 4-5)

How to Spend Your Cookie Dough

Girl Scouts earn individual "credit" during the annual cookie sale and program based on the number of packages they sell. Current cookie dough was issued on pink 1/3 page certificates and sent to troop leaders in April 2012. Please note cookie dough earned in the 2012 cookie sale expires April 30, 2013. Cookie dough can be used toward council program fees, camp registrations, and spent in Lakes & Pines Girl Scout Shops. Additional details are printed on the back of the certificate.

Cookie dough is honored at face value on all Lakes & Pines shop purchases. Both on-hand stock and special orders are eligible. If you are not able to shop in person, please call or email us at shoporder@gslakesandpines.org with the items you would like to buy. We will calculate tax and shipping, if applicable, and confirm your total. Cookie dough certificates must be presented in person or mailed in to be used toward shop purchases.

THANK YOU for selling Girl Scout cookies and shopping at Lakes & Pines Girl Scout Shops!

Iron-On Instructions

Most Girl Scout badges and patches are now iron-on products. Always look for the ironing instructions on the package. If there is no packaging with instructions, the item is not iron-on and must be sewn to the uniform.
