Washington DC Celebration
June 7-13, 2012
Grades 7-12 at the time of trip
Initial estimate:  $2,000 per person
Register by: January 2012
A once in a lifetime journey to the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting celebration in Washington, DC awaits you in the summer of 2012!  Not only will we have the opportunity to meet Girl Scouts from around the world, enjoy Girl Scout festivities, and participate in the Sing-A-Long at the Mall, the city itself is a magnificent display of our country's history.  As we plan this trip together, we'll explore our options: monuments, museums, the workings of our government, visiting the White House, or even becoming secret FBI agents!  Our trip will extend to Philadelpia, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were written and to see the Liberty Bell.
We will also travel to New York City where the girls will choose what we see and do.  Take in a Broadway show, do some shopping, see the Statue of Liberty?  The choices are yours!
Girls may use up to half of the cost of this trip in Cookie Dough and can used saved cookie dough for the three years prior to attending a council sponsored trip (contact us for the form and details).
A $100 deposit per person is required with the registration form.
