Camp Activities
Each day, girls can work on badges and do activities about the session they choose. Girls and their friends can choose to do a variety of activities, including: swimming, archery, crafts, cook outs, high adventure course, low ropes, campfires and more.
Girls also can visit the camp's store, The Trading Post, to buy stuffed animals, t-shirts, water bottles, jewelry, and other cool stuff. Items range in price from $1 and up.
Transportation
This year we are offering transportation for some resident camp sessions. Camp staff will chaperone buses from the pick up/drop off points for safety. Cost is $20 each way. See Camp Guide for icons, or check dates below.
Pick-up/Drop-off points:
• Waite Park Regional Office going to Camp Roundelay and Camp Shingobee Timbers
• Bay Front Park in Duluth going to Camp Roundelay and Camp Shingobee Timbers
Date choices:
Ride one way or round trip, depending on your interest and available dates.
• Pick-up points to camp: July 18 or August 1
• From camp to Drop-off points: July 23 or August 6
Bring A Friend
Girl Scouts can bring friends, even if they are not currently Girl Scouts. The friend's camp session costs the registration fee plus $12 and registers them as a Girl Scout. To bring a friend, complete separate registrations and mail in the same envelope. Girls must put each other's name on the registration form and register for the same session.
