Please join us for several Volunteer Learning Opportunities. Snacks will be supplied

The day’s learning sessions are designed to develop your leadership expertise so that you can create new opportunities for your Girl Scouts to Discover, Connect, and Take Action.  They are also designed to build your network of Girl Scout friends and mentors and to give you a chance to share your experiences with others.  Most of all, you will be learning and sharing skills that you will be taking back to the most important young women in your life, the girls in your troop or community.

New Leader Orientation Training  (NLOT) – Assist new troop volunteers with the basic steps of how to get their troop meetings up and running and how to guide girls in their participation choices  thought out their Girl Scout adventure.

Event Planning – How to plan and implement a safe, low cost event for girls in your troop or SU. 

Songs and Games – tools to take back to your troop or other occasions – CD included

Troop Trip Progression - What is age appropriate, what trips can you go on, and how do you go about doing this.

 S’more to Do – Enrichment “Songs, Games and Activities for all Occasions—What to do when…
·         the Princess Pat’s ship has sailed more than her fair share of the seven seas (perhaps you’re secretly hoping she’ll sink along with Cap’n Jack, rick-a-bamboo or not!),
·         the Great Big Moose couldn’t possibly still be thirsty (or perhaps, Fred is just so sticky, he’s now stuck to his bed),
·         your humans have been knotted so often they’ve named the formations

This is your day-register for as many or as few of the sessions as you desire within this timeline.
