Grades 7-12 and Adults
If you are a girl who will be in grades 7-12 in June 2013, YOU are invited to a take a Girl Scout Journey to England, France and Switzerland! Your tour of London includes Piccadilly Circus, Windsor Castle, the London Eye, and a visit to Pax Lodge, the newest Girl Scout World Center. Glide under the English Channel to Paris to visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre (hello Mona Lisa!), Notre Dame Cathedral and Arc de Triomphe. Head to Lucerne, Switzerland and travel high into the Swiss Alps to visit the oldest Girl Scout World Center, Our Chalet. Set your goals high, and join us on an 11 day Girl Scout Journey in Europe. Adults accompanying girls are welcome to join the adventure!
What’s included? What does it cost? Due to increased airline departure fees, current pricing is $4136 per person, including deposit ($100 GSMWLP Deposit and $95 EF Tours Enrollment Fee).
How can I afford it? Since the trip is planned through EF Tours, families can choose their payment plan with this experienced and reputable company. Also, girls may use up to $500 in Cookie Dough each year to save toward the trip. Cookie Dough may only be saved for the three years prior to the trip, the last year being the year of the trip. Girls may use up to one half of the trip cost to cover the approved expenses. And of course, be resourceful as you create a plan to earn your way to Europe. Along with the Girl Scout Cooke Sale or Fall Product Sale, what other money earning strategies will you use? Baby sitting money? Spaghetti feed? Sell a product that you’ve made yourself? Be creative, think big!
What if I am not in Girl Scouts? Any girl can take part in any Girl Scout event, camp or trip. Just pay the $12 annual membership fee to take advantage of our exciting programs!
