For the girls being mentored, it means a chance to be with and learn from teens – some of their favorite people! This four hour training completes one of the steps to become a Program Aide.  Please note that girls are expected to complete the Leader in Action award before attending this training.  Space is limited to 30 participants. You don’t have to
wait any longer.  The fun starts

Girls:  Gather your friends and two or more fun
adults and discover your next adventure!

A year with us will be filled with new friends,
tons of fun, and more “wow” moments than you’ve ever imagined.

Troops allow girls to work as a team and build lasting friendships.  Girls in Girl Scouts need supportive adults and families to form troops. Each troop needs two lead adults to ensure safety & fun.

Adults:  Are you that fun, caring role model?  Picture the fun you will have discovering and connecting with girls – your own special girl and her friends or as a non-related adult who just cares about girls and their world.

Hello! My name is Allison Hand and I am the new Membership Specialist for Region 5. I live in Sartell with my husband and three girls.  We also have a male maltese/ shish tzu dog named Gus  to try to balance the ratio at home.
I have spent the last year as the Service Unit Manager for Service Unit 28 as well as an active parent volunteer for the last two years with Girl Scouts. I have enjoyed seeing just how Girl Scouts has encouraged my daughter to overcome her fears and adopt an “I can” attitude. In my free time, I enjoy cooking (especially baking), reading and spending  time with my girls.  I look forward to recruiting more members and meeting all of our wonderful volunteers that make Girl Scouts who we are!  Please feel free to contact me about Jump Start, Recruitment, or any other items!
I can be reached at: (320) 247-4567 or by e-mail: ahand@gslakesandpines.org
